  • At Florida State University (FSU) they have a college entitled The School of Baking Science. Google them and I’m certain all your questions will be answered. It was a very highly regarded course of study in my time, and the students who studied in that program were more than pleased with the curriculum. OK? OK.

  • The appropriate major is baking and pastry arts. However, it is not offered at Black Hills State or at any other school in SD. So check the College Board web site for schools outside SD. Be cautious about proprietary (for profit) schools. The public schools may be less expensive, even for out-of-state students.
