My fiance’s former roomate had a puppy that peed on pretty much every square inch of carpeting in our house. Many of the stains the roomate neglected to clean up for quite some time and when he did, i swear he must have just sopped it up with paper towels because in addition to smelling nausiating, the carpet also has many yellow splotches on it. We can’t afford to get new flooring right now and although the roomate has agreed to pay for professional carpet cleaning, we cannot do it until he has removed all his furniture from the house. I’ve already baking soda’d, enzyme cleaner soaked, and steam cleaned the carpets but it has only been 24 hours and the smell is back already. Is there anything else I can do to neutralize the disgusting smell in the meantime until we can get the carpets cleaned and eventually replaced? I can’t leave our bedroom withough gagging! Thanks

I have always loved to cook and I am going into year 9 next year, so I want to know what subjects (other than cooking) I will need to take for this career path. Thanks!

I need SERIOUS help with how to remove the SMELL and STAINS my puppy has left all over my carpet. I just had a Chem Dry Professional Carpet person tell me that you "can’t" get the yellow out of carpets and even of he treated the areas you would still see stains plus it was over 0 to treat a small area.
What can I use to get the odor out and the the yellow stains out? The carpet is not super saturated just scattered with pee. She dosent pee in ONE place.
I use Natures Miracle when I find the pee, and I’ve used paroxide and baking soda before for the smell. Any other ideas that WORK?
Please help!

I started by just baking cakes for my children and neices and nephews, and this is slowly branching out. I’m taught myself a few things, such as basketweave and a few borders. I reproduced a beautiful cake for a baby shower that looks like a carriage, and now I’ve been asked to make a wedding cake.
I’M SO NERVOUS. Do you know of any websites that will help me learn to put together a professional cake, with lots of tips on frosting technique, layering without splitting, etc. I don’t have time or money to go to school, so I’m just learning as I go at home. Thanks for your help!

How to get rid of skunk smell in house and clothes?
About 2 am last night we smelled and found out our Shetland Sheepdogs just got sprayed by a skunk and now he and the house smells like skunk. Everywhere we go in the house, we smell it. We gave the dog a bath in 1 Qt 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda, and 1 tsp. liquid soap. Right away and now, we have him at the groomers. The whole house smells, all of your clothes smells. The windows and doors were all but the doggy door was closed. Now I need to do something about that smell. If I cannot find a solution, will I need to call a professional cleaner? Is there a laundry detergent that will remove the smell?

Which cake should I make for my dad’s birthday? I don’t need a really hard-to-make fancy cake, but not just a regular chocolate cake. He’s not really picky about food, but I want to make him a special cake. He doesn’t like things too too sweet. Something simple and esay to make but tastes and looks good. please give me the name of the cake and if you can, send me the link of a pic of that cake. I need cake bread AND frosting so ex. chocolate cake bread with vanilla buttercream frosting with sugar rose petals.
I’ve been baking for a long time so I can make some difficult cakes, but I am not a professional so I can’t make really hard ones

Okay, so my best friend recently bleached the underneath of my hair, and then dyed it hot hot pink with Manic Panic. Problem is, she messed up big time. My hair is originally a medium to darker brown, and I still have brown chucks where she didn’t bleach it right, and blonde strands where she didn’t dye it right. I’m absolutely mortified that I did this in the first place. It’s been in for two weeks and I’m ready to go nuts. I’ve already washed it with Tide, and I am tempted to use baking soda. Does anyone out there know a way without having to resort to go to a professional to get this stuff out of my hair without killing it?
