What would the pH of a typical industrial oven cleaner be?

I just started working in a deli and I burned my arm with oven cleaner two days ago and it’s still marked. I know the oven cleaner is really strong because of the smell and it stings your eyes when you’re spraying it from a distance, so I’m just wondering how strong it actually is?

What is a good way to sterilize surgical steel? ?

I got a industrial piercing a couple of weeks ago. It is no where near ready for the bar to be changed. But as my excitement for it has me jumping the gun. I have bought a couple of bars that are made out of 316L but I"m sure they need to be sterilized before put anywhere near my ear. What is a good way of doing this? Would cooking them in the oven be a good deal? What about just using hydrogen peroxide? Open to anything here…

Thanks
